First, smelting and casting
Smelting: advanced smelting process is adopted to ensure that the chemical composition of the sleeve material is reliable, accurate and identical. The smelting process needs to strictly control the content of various alloying elements to ensure the mechanical and physical properties of the sleeve.
Centrifugal casting: centrifugal casting of smelting-qualified steel to form the blank sleeve. Centrifugal casting can ensure the internal and external surface quality of the sleeve, to avoid cracks, slag, pores, sand holes and other defects.
Second, heat treatment
Annealing: the sleeve is placed in a high-temperature furnace for heating, and then slowly cooled down to room temperature. Annealing treatment can eliminate the stress inside the sleeve, improve its processing performance and deformation capacity.
Tempering: put the sleeve into the high-temperature furnace for heating treatment, and then rapid cooling, so that the internal organization of the material to produce a new structure, improve its hardness and strength. Tempering treatment can further improve the mechanical properties of the sleeve to meet the requirements of aluminum foil rolling mill.
Third, mechanical processing
Rough machining: the blank sleeve for the initial cutting process, remove excess material, the formation of the basic shape and size.
Finishing: Adopt special steel sleeve machining tooling and reasonable machining process to finish the sleeve. In the process of finishing, it is necessary to strictly control the machining tolerance and reserve amount to ensure the coaxiality, cylindricity and dynamic balance of the sleeve and other technical requirements.
Surface polishing: polish the surface of the sleeve to improve its finish and corrosion resistance.
Fourth, testing and acceptance
Chemical composition test: the chemical composition of the sleeve is tested to ensure that it meets the design requirements.
Mechanical properties test: test the hardness, strength, toughness and other mechanical properties of the sleeve to ensure that it meets the requirements of the aluminum foil mill.
Coaxiality testing: using high-precision measuring instruments to test the coaxiality of the sleeve to ensure that it meets the design requirements.
Appearance inspection: inspect the appearance of the sleeve to ensure that there are no cracks, slag, pores and other defects on its surface.
Fifth, packaging and factory
Cleaning and rustproofing: clean the sleeve, remove the oil and impurities on the surface, and then carry out rustproofing treatment to prevent the sleeve from rusting during transportation and storage.
Packing: Pack the sleeve properly to ensure that it is not damaged during transportation.
Factory: The tested and qualified sleeves can be shipped out and delivered to customers for use.
To sum up, the process of steel sleeve for aluminum foil mill includes smelting and casting, heat treatment, machining, testing and acceptance, as well as packaging and factory and other links. Each link needs to strictly control the quality and technical requirements to ensure that the performance and quality of the sleeve meets the requirements of aluminum foil rolling mill.
